Norwegian fashion jewelry company Nora Norway AS has announced a strategic cooperation with Rob Robertaccio, founder of ITRC (International & Travel Retail Consultants, LLC), to accelerate the growth of the Nora Norway brand and its related collections in North and South America through a newly created company, Nora Norway, LLC.

Nora Norway, LLC is a U.S.-based entity owned by Rob Robertaccio, who will also serve as Chief Executive Officer. Through a licensing agreement, Nora Norway AS will retain a significant decision-making role in the strategic direction, growth, and development of Nora Norway, LLC, ensuring that the company remains aligned with the brand’s Scandinavian design DNA, quality standards, and long-term vision.

At the heart of this partnership is the stand-alone Nora Norway brand, known for its modern Scandinavian fashion jewelry, strong giftability, and accessible price points. Under the Nora Norway AS umbrella sit additional brands and collections, including the nautical-themed Nautic Explorer line and the purpose-driven Nina’s Little Angel collection, both of which will also form part of Nora Norway, LLC’s future portfolio in the Americas.

Cruise-first strategy built on proven demand

Nora Norway, LLC will initially focus on the cruise industry, where Nora Norway and ITRC have already made significant inroads and built key relationships with leading cruise retail partners. The strong response to the core Nora Norway collections—supported by the maritime storytelling of Nautic Explorer—has been the primary catalyst for creating this dedicated Americas entity.

From its cruise-first platform, future plans include expansion into airport and duty free retail across North and South America

From this cruise-first platform, future plans include:

• Expansion into airport and duty free retail across North and South America
• Development of regional and destination-focused assortments tailored to specific ports and traveler profiles
• A phased rollout into U.S. domestic retail, including department stores, specialty retailers, and select online partners

“We see a tremendous opportunity to bring the Nora Norway brand to travelers and consumers across the Americas,” says Lars Bjerkeengen, CEO of Nora Norway AS. “Our stand-alone Nora Norway collection is built on Scandinavian design, commercial appeal, and strong margins for our partners. By creating Nora Norway, LLC together with Rob and ITRC, we are combining our brand and product expertise with his deep relationships and long experience in travel retail. The licensing structure allows us to stay closely involved in the key strategic decisions, while giving the new company the agility it needs to grow in a competitive region.”

Strong governance with entrepreneurial drive

Under the licensing agreement, Nora Norway AS will provide brand guardianship, product direction, and strategic guidance for Nora Norway and its related collections, while Nora Norway, LLC will manage day-to-day operations across the Americas, including sales, marketing, inventory, and customer service.

“I am honored to be entrusted with leading Nora Norway, LLC in the Americas,” adds Rob Robertaccio, CEO & Owner of Nora Norway, LLC and Founder of ITRC. “The Nora Norway brand checks all the boxes that cruise, airport, and duty free buyers are looking for: clean Scandinavian design, attractive retail prices, and a proven track record as an easy-to-gift, easy-to-wear jewelry concept.

“On top of that,” he continues, “we have powerful supporting stories under the Nora Norway umbrella—like Nautic Explorer, with its anchor bracelets inspired by life at sea, and Nina’s Little Angel, a meaningful collection that supports families of seriously ill children. Our initial traction in the cruise channel confirmed that Nora Norway deserves a dedicated, region-focused vehicle. Nora Norway, LLC will be laser-focused on building sustainable, long-term partnerships with cruise, airport, duty free and, in time, domestic retailers throughout North and South America, in close cooperation with Lars and the team in Norway.”

A Norwegian brand with global potential

Nora Norway has built its reputation on modern, feminine Scandinavian jewelry designed to be versatile, giftable, and commercially strong for retailers. The brand’s core line is complemented by:

• Nautic Explorer – a nautical-inspired collection under the Nora Norway AS umbrella, featuring anchor-themed bracelets and accessories that resonate strongly in cruise and coastal destinations.
• Nina’s Little Angel – a more niche, emotionally driven collection within the Nora Norway family, created in support of Nina’s Little Angel, a charity that helps families of seriously ill children, with angel motifs symbolizing care, hope, and protection.

These collections allow Nora Norway to address different consumer moods and occasions while maintaining a cohesive Scandinavian identity—particularly relevant in travel retail environments where shoppers are seeking meaningful souvenirs and affordable luxury.

“With this new step into the Americas, we are taking a natural next step in building Nora Norway as a truly international brand,” added Bjerkeengen. “Our primary focus is on the core Nora Norway collection, supported by Nautic Explorer and Nina’s Little Angel where they make sense for the market and our partners. Together with Rob and ITRC, we are excited to write the next chapter for Nora Norway on board cruise ships, in airports, and eventually in retail locations across the United States.”
