Going for gold: Ferrero welcomes the festive season with an eye-catching premium gifting campaign

Ferrero Travel Market has unveiled its Christmas campaign, “Celebrations Begin With A Golden Gift”, embracing the festive spirit and tapping into the peak season for gifting and travel.

By leveraging the seasonality of Ferrero Rocher, the campaign is designed to celebrate the art of gifting, reinforcing brand relevance and encouraging consumption during peak gifting occasions. Importantly, the initiative also reflects Ferrero’s long-term sustainability goals, promoting conscious gifting.

A 360° marketing plan spanning digital, social, and in-store touchpoints is supporting the campaign, ensuring Ferrero’s festive messaging resonates across every stage of the traveler’s journey. This integrated approach aims to reinforce the brand’s presence in key international markets, strengthening its visibility and relevance during the most important season for confectionery gifting.

The “Celebrations Begin With A Golden Gift” campaign made its debut at Paris Orly in late October and is rolling out to Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport in mid-November, followed by Luxembourg and Lisbon in December.

The heart of the in-store activation is a premium gift-wrapping experience. Brand ambassadors at selected key airport locations offer to wrap Ferrero Rocher boxes (Rocher 375g & 600g) using sustainable and reusable fabric cloths, combining style with conscious gifting. Each wrap is finished with a branded Ferrero Rocher charm and ribbon, turning every purchase into a refined and memorable gesture – perfect for surprising loved ones with a touch of golden elegance.

In line with Ferrero’s strong commitment to sustainability and responsible sourcing, the wrapping cloth has been thoughtfully designed for reuse beyond the initial gifting moment.
