Cairo International Airport opens pre-qualification for F&B and specialty retail tender
Cairo International Airport is inviting international operators to pre-qualify for a new F&B and specialty retail concession

Cairo Airport Company has launched a pre-qualification process for the management and operation of Food & Beverage units and specialty retail across Terminals 1, 2, and 3 at Cairo International Airport. Covering an area of approximately 4,000 to 5,000 square meters across airside and landside in international departures, domestic departures and international arrivals, the concession will be offered through a limited competitive bidding process.
Two commercial packages are available: Package 1 offers around 2,500 to 3,000 square meters, while Package 2 covers 1,500 to 2,000 square meters. Bidders may apply for one or both packages. The concession contract runs for five years, with the option of a two-year extension.

Participation is open to international operators with proven expertise in managing Food & Beverage and specialty retail at a minimum of two international airports outside Egypt with comparable passenger volumes. Operators must also demonstrate experience managing a portfolio of both international and local brands in line with the tender requirements.
Pre-qualification documents will be available from Sunday, October 5, 2025, against a non-refundable fee of US$200 (or equivalent). Submissions must be made bySunday, November 2, 2025. Evaluation will be carried out strictly according to the criteria outlined in the pre-qualification documents, CAC procurement regulations and Egyptian law.
