L’OCCITANE Global Travel Retail has announced the launch of the hottest summer tour featuring its brand Sol de Janeiro. The award-winning beauty brand, known for its Brazilian-inspired body care and transportive fragrance, is turning the summer travel season into a global celebration with the launch of Body Badalada™ Vitamin-Infused Lotion. This marks the centerpiece of the brand’s biggest travel retail campaign to date. Running from June, over 350 airports across the world will be transformed into high-energy touchpoints of self-expression, celebration, and connection.
Body Badalada™ Vitamin-Infused Lotion is a brand-defining moment. Portuguese slang for “the hottest thing,” Body Badalada™ introduces a new generation of body lotion: weightless, high-performance, and designed to make an impact. Created with the needs of Gen Z in mind, it delivers 24-hour hydration without feeling heavy. A blend of Brazilian sugarcane and seven types of hyaluronic acid works below the surface to visibly nourish and glow. Infused with the cult-favourite Cheirosa 62 scent, it’s made to enhance daily rituals and elevate both skin and presence. The result is a fast-absorbing, non-sticky formula that hydrates from morning to night.
To celebrate the global launch, Sol de Janeiro is bringing the energy to airports with an immersive, multi-channel campaign that reimagines the travel experience. The campaign features Juliana Nalú, Bretman Rock, Samyra Miller, and Nick Pauley, with an original track by Honey Dijon. Travellers will encounter towering product installations, mobile hype crews styled as walking luggage, oversized digital screens, animated pillars, and terminal takeovers. The experience is supported by both digital and out- of-home media, reaching travellers before, during, and after their journeys.
The Sol de Janeiro Badalada Summer Tour includes vibrant activations across key international airports in Europe, the Americas, and Asia Pacific. Locations include Amsterdam Schiphol, Stansted, Manchester, Malaga, Palma de Mallorca, Barcelona, Rome, Geneva, Istanbul, and Budapest. Additional stops include New York JFK, San Francisco, Houston, Panama, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Vancouver, Toronto, and Sydney.
Each pop-up will offer a full-sensory experience including a dedicated Badalada playlist, hand massages, glitter festival makeup bars, interactive photo booths, and selfie stations. Travelers can receive branded takeaways such as bracelets, temporary tattoos, keyrings, and shopping bags. Dedicated product displays will offer testing and sampling of Body Badalada™ and Cheirosa 62.

The Badalada Bloco – a roving celebration inspired by Brazil’s iconic street parties – brings energy to city streets with Airstream pop-ups, branded vending machines, immersive sampling, and content moments. From 3D billboards to festivals and social storytelling, the movement is designed to show up wherever people are.
Body Badalada™ Vitamin-Infused Lotion is now available exclusively at Sephora and in travel retail locations for a limited three-month period. It’s the newest icon in Sol de Janeiro’s body care collection, uniting community, culture, celebration, and care in one unforgettable formula.
