Guerlain has introduced a new campaign featuring its iconicBee Bottle and Global Brand Ambassador Song Hey-Kyo.
Described as “a meeting between French heritage and Korean modernity”, Song Hye Kyo is said to “add a touch of lightness” to the Bee Bottle which was created in 1853 to elevate Eau de Cologne Impériale and offered to Empress Eugénie on her wedding to Napoleon III.
Every Bee Bottle can be engraved, personalized, or dressed with couture-like touches – just as Song Hye Kyo’s own Bee Bottle has been customized for this celebration to feature the Angelique Noire fragrance from Guerlain’s L’Art & La Matière collection.
“The Bee Bottle feels alive – a creation shaped by light, patience and craft,” Song Hey-Kyo said. “I’m honored to celebrate this icon with Guerlain and to share its spirit with those who seek beauty with meaning.”
Gabriella Saint Genis, Guerlain CEO, added, “Song Hye-Kyo embodies the contemporary elegance of our Maison. Her sensitivity, modernity and artistic precision illuminate the Bee Bottle, a symbol of our heritage and our commitment to craftsmanship. Together, we celebrate an icon that continues to inspire across cultures and generations.”
