Shiseido Travel Retail is inviting travelers to embark on a renewed SHISEIDO Vital Perfection Intensive WrinkleSpot Treatment journey at China Duty Free Group’s (CDFG) Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex, Block C.

A leader in Asian skin beauty and wellness, Shiseido Travel Retail has curated an immersive ingredient-led beauty experience with a research laboratory-style augmented reality (AR) game that will captivate travelers in May.

Shiseido Travel Retail noted that ageing, sagging and lines especially around the eye areas are some of the top skin concerns for Asian women. The latest iteration of SHISEIDO’s hero franchise, Vital Perfection Intensive WrinkleSpot Treatment is specifically designed to reduce wrinkles and tear troughs in Asian skin. The new three-dimensional fading tear trough formula addresses three main causes of tear troughs in Asian skin: lines, darkness and sagging. It includes Pure Retinol, which penetrates multiple skin layers to promote fluffy collagen and rigid collagen production and a new ingredient, Tranexamic Acid PRO with 4MSK, helps to promote accumulated melanin release and skin regeneration to brighten and improve the look of dark circles.


The new third-generation SHISEIDO Vita Perfection Intensive WrinkleSpot Treatment has a smooth, light and yet creamy texture, using the ‘Micro-Liposome’ encapsulation technology tailored for Asian skin, allowing pure Vitamin A to reach the dermis, reducing irritation to the skin, making it both effective and skin-friendly. After just one week of usage, the following results have shown: a 25% reduction in fine lines under the eyes; 25% reduction in crow’s feet; 26% improvement in tear trough lines, along with 64% reduction in melanin and 101% increase in elastic fibers, reshaping the eyes to a fuller, firmer and more youthful appearance.

As SHISEIDO’s first animation at China Duty Free Group’s Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex, Block C, travelers are treated to the brand’s signature experience, an immersive ingredient-led beauty AR game. This interactive game simulates a laboratory environment, allowing travelers to ‘conduct research’ and try their hands at creating the renewed Vital Perfection Intensive WrinkleSpot Treatment. Following the game, an educational video emphasizing the benefits of retinol will be shared with participants. They will then receive a ‘research summary’ along with a redemption code for a deluxe sample from the vending machine as part of their experiential journey. Additional highlights include a visually striking photo-op entrance, a product display featuring travel exclusive lines and a consultation area. This interactive setup invites travelers to delve into the world of SHISEIDO, to discover the art and science behind their anti-aging solutions.

At the launch event, SHISEIDO global brand ambassador, Liu Yi Fei, revealed her personal travel skincare routine, her favorite SHISEIDO beauty product while traveling and discussed the reasons behind her ongoing collaboration with the brand.
