Rémy Cointreau Global Travel Retail (GTR) has announced a key appointment aimed at supporting growth within the industry and fostering stronger relationships with the company’s valued partners.
Thibault Robert will take on the newly created role of Managing Director Global Travel Retail EMEA & Americas, effective July 1.
Highly experienced within the world of premium spirits, Robert joined Rémy Cointreau in 2008 and has held various senior positions, across multiple territories worldwide. His most recent role was Managing Director for Latin America, The Caribbean & Travel Retail Americas.
Robert will spearhead the strategic direction, performance and market presence of Rémy Cointreau’s brand portfolio within the global travel retail sector.
The Group is currently recruiting for a second new regional Managing Director position, covering GTR APAC. Both positions are part of Rémy Cointreau’s GTR organization, headed by Fida Bou Chabke.
