Knowledge Fund Establishment and Dubai Duty Free sign MoU to support the “Dubai Schools” project with multi-year contribution
This initiative comes as part of ongoing efforts to enhance collaboration between the public and private sectors and advance the education sector

The Knowledge Fund Establishment (KFE) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dubai Duty Free to provide financial support amounting to AED 1.95 million (US$530,900) for the "Dubai Schools" project. This initiative comes as part of ongoing efforts to enhance collaboration between the public and private sectors and reinforcing the concept of corporate social responsibility in advancing the education sector, in alignment with the “Education 33” strategy aimed at developing a modern educational ecosystem that strengthens the quality of education in the emirate and empowers future generations.
The signing ceremony took place at the Dubai Duty Free Headquarters, in the presence of H.E. Abdulla Mohammed Al Awar, Chief Executive Officer of the Knowledge Fund Establishment, and Mr. Ramesh Cidambi, Managing Director of Dubai Duty Free, with senior representatives from both entities in attendance.
This partnership aims to support students and contribute to the continuous development of the Dubai Schools ecosystem by enhancing teaching staff capabilities, improving school facilities and infrastructure, and expanding access to high-quality academic services. It also reflects Dubai Duty Free’s commitment to supporting the education sector as one of the key pillars of sustainable development, while enabling students and providing an integrated learning environment that meets the highest global standards.
