Kipling returns to TFWA Cannes with soft travel collection

The release of Kipling's Spring/Summer 2026 soft-shell luggage collection marks a pivotal milestone in the brand's travel retail strategy. As global travel continues to evolve, Kipling reinforces its position in the market with leightweight innovation and smart functionality

This September, Kipling, the renowned lifestyle brand in VF Corporation’s portfolio, will be returning to the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes, taking place from September 28 to October 2.

This time around, Kipling plans to unveil its Spring/Summer 2026 soft-shell luggage collection — a pivotal milestone in the brand’s travel retail strategy. Rooted in the concept of soft travel, the collection champions flexibility, comfort, and freedom of movement. As global travel continues to evolve, Kipling reinforces its position in the market with lightweight innovation, smart functionality, and its unmistakably playful spirit.

“We are strengthening our travel offer this season with new four-wheel luggage additions, as well as an underseater backpack with the new Seoul Cabin to match the fast-growing traveler needs and trends,” says Thomas Falcy, PACKS Sales Director. “In addition, we are revamping our brand visual expression in airports and in our Dubai flagship store, bringing the latest design and brand DNA into our fixtures. This will help elevate the traveler shopping experience and contribute to growing our revenue per square meter.”

The new Jet luggage line combines Kipling’s signature crinkled nylon with reinforced PU bases, smooth 360° wheels, TSA locks and the iconic furry monkey keychain. Also launching: the Seoul Cabin backpack, a compact underseater with full opening, padded straps, trolley sleeve and 15” laptop compartment — ideal for modern business travel. The Jonis Up duffle bag returns with improved top-access organization.

As part of its mission to reignite brand desire and deepen emotional connection with a global audience, Kipling is launching its Fall/Winter 2025 brand campaign “Follow Your Monkey,” with a focus on France and key EMEA markets. Celebrating Kipling’s signature mascot, the monkey takes center stage — reminding consumers to follow their instincts, embrace spontaneity, and stay true to their authentic selves.
