Heinemann brings an early European summer to a new pop-up at both Sydney Airport and Gold Coast Airport

Heinemann is helping international passengers traveling through Sydney Airport and Gold Coast Airport to start their European summer holiday experience with Heinemann Australia’s new EuroSummer retail program running from July until the end of August.

Europe is one of Australia’s most popular overseas destinations. Twenty percent of Australian international travelers visited Europe in 2022, while Madrid, Milan, Athens, Barcelona and Rome were the most popular bookings on Australian online travel agency Webjet in the first half of the year.

The pop-up features a specially curated range of fragrances, skincare, sunglasses and spirits to inspire a European sensibility. Lemon trees, a Vespa and rustic floor finishes all inspired by the Amalfi coast bring a taste of Europe to Australia

To embody the feeling of a European vacation, Heinemann is offering citrusy, floral and fruity fragrances from brands such as Dolce and Gabbana, Giorgio Armani and Versace; spirits brands such as Aperol, Pimm’s Cup, Grey Goose and Malfy; and sunglasses from Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Chloe and Balenciaga.

Marketing support

Heinemann is supporting this activation across digital channels such as Heinemann’s web shop, social media, electronic direct mailers. In-store, the campaign is featured prominently on digital screens, and a dedicated EuroSummer ambassador welcomes shoppers and provides personalized advice and guidance.

“We are delighted to offer this new concept in Sydney and Gold Coast, creating our own small corner of the Mediterranean as travelers escape Australia’s winter season,” Heinemann Australia Managing Director George Tsoukalas commented. “Our European Summer program is our latest initiative to make the airport a destination in and of itself, by creating constantly evolving and inspiring experiences.”
