Foreo's presence at Don Mueang International Airport

Continuing its expansion into Thailand, Swedish beauty and tech brand Foreo has officially launched a new placement at Don Mueang (also known as Bangkok International Airport) in partnership with King Power Thailand.

The opening marks Foreo’s third duty free store after Suvarnabhumi Airport and Phuket Airport, which officially opened to the public on March 1, 2023. FOREO has also expanded with King Power in previous years, with placements at Suvarnabhumi Airport and Phuket Airport, alongside three downtown placements of King Power Rangnam, King Power Srivaree Complex, and King Power Phuket.

Featured at the new placement is Foreo's new Swedish Beauty campaign, which includes the newly released LUNA 3, the BEAR, UFO 2, and ISSA ranges. The new campaign sees a minimalistic and holistic approach by focusing on quality over drawn-out 8-step routines.

Foreo's version of Swedish beauty offers everyone a chance at achieving complexion perfection with 3 ½ steps. No longer centered around traditional European beauty standards, the Foreo approach welcomes all skin tones, types, and textures to be part of a culture that focuses on health and an inner glow. Maintaining the skin's hydration levels and moisture barrier is paramount for a perennial Swedish glow. The essentials: a strategic routine of cleansing, masks, and a toning device, and capping off with an unparalleled oral routine.

Don Mueang International Airport is one of two international airports serving the Bangkok Metropolitan Region, with the second being Suvarnabhumi Airport. Mainly serving domestic flights, the airport is also known as Bangkok International Airport, and is jointly owned by the Thai government and Don Mueang Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF).

Global Travel Retail Director Gary Leong said “We are especially excited for our new placement at Don Mueang Airport, further strengthening our relationship with our fantastic partner, King Power. The placement ensures that we will be able to reach out to even more Foreo fans, and provide them with the best of our brand for their everyday needs.”

King Power Don Mueang Airport caters to the retail needs of travelers from all corners of the world, offering a wide range of popular products for tourists. The selection includes beauty products, fashion items, snacks, and souvenirs both from Thailand and abroad. All the products available for sale have been carefully curated from leading and high-quality brands to ensure customer satisfaction and meet diverse needs related to health and beauty.

As of May 2023, Thailand officially clocked its one millionth visitor from China since January, and seems to be well on its way to meet its annual target of five million tourists from China. The one million visitors were among the 9.47 million tourists in five months, against its 25 million target for the year. Benchmarking itself to 2019, where Thailand saw a whopping 40 million tourists, Thailand has also launched a “Trust Thailand” campaign to rekindle the relationship between the country and Chinese tourists, bolstered by 60 Chinese KOLs, members of the media, airlines, and related businesses invited to the country to promote it as a premier tourists’ destination.
