Everrich Taoyuan Airport Store completes BSI Carbon Footprint Verification
Everrich’s dedication to social responsibility and a diverse and inclusive workplace has also been recognized at the Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Action Awards
In response to the global challenges of climate change and sustainable development, Everrich Duty Free has successfully completed ISO 14064-1 Carbon Footprint Verification at its Taoyuan International Airport store, earning certification from the British Standards Institution (BSI).
At the same time, Everrich’s long-standing dedication to social responsibility and its efforts to build a diverse and inclusive workplace have been recognized at the Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Action Awards. These achievements highlight Everrich’s dedication in driving sustainability within the travel retail industry.
As a long-term advocate of CSR and ESG, Everrich is the first travel retailer in Taiwan to publish a sustainability report. This year, the company voluntarily completed Carbon Footprint Verifications across 13 operation spots, with its logistic center in Taoyuan reducing nearly 300 metric tons of carbon emissions over two years.
Beyond environmental efforts, Everrich also champions diversity and inclusion. The company employs persons with disabilities and indigenous staff at levels exceeding legal requirements, alongside 300 new immigrants and Southeast Asian interns. Its “all employees as volunteers” culture further supports orphanages and senior care institutions.
In addition to being certified by the Ministry of Health and Welfare as a Healthy Workplace, Everrich has also been recognized with the HR Asia Best Employer Brand Award. These actions earned Everrich the award at the Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Action Awards, making it the only travel retailer in Taiwan to receive this honor.
