In the context of Children’s Month in Argentina, Duty FreeShop Puerto Iguazú and Fundación Grupo London Supply have joined forces in a ‘Batuque Circular’ event, with the educational music show combining the energy of a live batucada with a powerful message about caring for the planet.

With over ten performances over the past weekend, Batuque Circular sought to plant the seeds of environmental responsibility in children in a creative and playful way. The musicians used instruments made from recycled materials, transforming what could be considered waste into a source of rhythm and fun. According to the organizers, this initiative practically promoted the three R’s – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle –demonstrating that caring for the planet is possible through ingenuity and creativity.

The event aligns with the mission of Fundación Grupo London Supply, born from the Corporate Social Responsibility Program of London Supply Group, the concessionaire of the border duty free store. Guided by the motto “Putting more where there is less”, the Foundation works in Argentina and Uruguay to improve the quality of life in local communities. This event reflects the group’s commitment to education and its global vision of generating a positive impact in every community it is part of, promoting the construction of a more sustainable future.

María Taratuty, Director of Sustainability and Strategic Communication at London Supply Group, said, “Batuque Circular is an example of how music, art, and social commitment can unite to create unforgettable experiences while educating the new generations. Through these types of events, we seek to create synergy between the high-level experiences that already characterize our international duty free shop and the mission of our foundation, inspiring children and young people to connect with caring for the planet in a creative and practical way.”
