Coty Travel Retail launches multi-house “The Scent Coaster” animations
With a focus on holiday and Diwali storytelling, pop-ups have launched at airports in Mumbai, Sydney and Bangkok

Coty Travel Retail has launched a new multi house animation concept, “The Scent Coaster,” an immersive experience designed to transform fragrance discovery into a theme-park-inspired journey with Holiday and Diwali storytelling.
The experience launched across Mumbai, Sydney, and Bangkok airports on October 1, celebrating the holiday season with an immersive fragrance journey featuring roller coaster-inspired visuals, festive skylines, and seasonal décor.
Asia Pacific is the first region to unveil the Diwali-inspired “Scent Coaster” in travel retail.
At Mumbai International Airport, in partnership with Ospree Duty Free, and at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport, in partnership with King Power Thailand, travelers can explore Coty’s iconic fragrance houses - Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Burberry and Chloé - in a lively, interactive setting.
The Diwali edition integrates festive elements such as lanterns, rangoli patterns, golden hues, and vibrant lights, offering a sense of place and celebration. Visitors can enjoy lollipops inspired by traditional chai flavors, and capture Polaroid-style pictures in custom Diwali-themed frames, creating both memorable moments and shareable souvenirs.

At Sydney International Airport Departures – from October 9 to December 10 – Coty has partnered with Heinemann Duty Free to introduce the first-ever holiday-themed “Scent Coaster” pop-up in Terminal 1.
This edition celebrates the festive season, allowing travelers to discover fragrances from Hugo Boss, Marc Jacobs, Burberry and Chloé.
The holiday design features festive lights, golden tones, and playful roller coaster motifs. Travelers can capture personalized and shareable memories at a roller coaster photo station and select a fragrance card aligned with their mood, such as “joyful”, “dreamy” or “powerful”, with each card revealing a scent that resonates with the chosen emotion.
