City Arts Market promotes local artisans and makers from Orlando

WHSmith North America has partnered with Orlando International Airport (MCO) to open its first concepts in the Orlando area. Main Streets Market, City Arts Market, The Scoop and Replenish are now open at the airport’s South terminal.

According to the company, "With a design inspired by various neighborhoods in Orlando, Main Streets Market is a charming and energetic retail space that provides everything needed for a long flight or layover. Main Streets Market offers travelers a mix of local vendors with national brands, like Einstein Bagels and Coffee.

"City Arts Market replicates the character of the arts community in Orlando and brings a unique design that matches the creative feel of the arts district. The retail space showcases a wide array of local art displayed as store décor. In a partnership with non-profit venues CityArts Factory and the Downtown Arts District, City Arts Market promotes the district, as well as local artisans and makers, giving travelers an original perspective on Orlando."

The Scoop offers travelers access to important headlines of the day and an assortment of convenience products. Replenish, created in partnership with Illy Coffee, is an open-air kiosk meant to serve as a one-stop shop for essentials.

“It’s so exciting to see our company continue to expand into new markets, like Orlando. I am always impressed with our team’s commitment to creating unique concepts inspired by each market we enter, and we have really captured the essence of Orlando with these stores,” said Toby Keir, CEO of WHSmith North America. “We are thankful to our partnership with Greater Orlando Aviation Authority for the opportunity to bring our concepts to MCO, and we look forward to what is ahead as our partnership continues.”
