Located inside the West Gates at the airport’s Tom Bradley International Terminal, the new stores include TMZ, LEGO and InMotion
WHSmith North America has recently celebrated the opening of three new stores at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), inside the West Gates at the airport’s Tom Bradley International Terminal. The new store openings include TMZ, LEGO and InMotion.
TMZ is a modern newsstand, offering travelers news, convenience and branded goods. Designed to mimic the TMZ newsroom, the TMZ store features large screens playing celebrity content for passengers to enjoy while shopping. At the store, travelers can pick up a variety of snacks, refreshments, books, magazines and travel essentials, as well as exclusive TMZ branded apparel, drinkware and other souvenirs.
WHSmith North America’s very own consumer technology brand, InMotion, is a tech-forward, cutting-edge, and diverse premium electronic retailer designed to keep travelers connected. With access and insight into the latest technologies for business and leisure travelers, the new InMotion location at LAX offers lifestyle products and electronics including headphones, mobile power, Bluetooth speakers and other travel accessories.
The bold and colorful LEGO store at LAX captures the attention of travelers, showcasing LEGO activity sets and bricks. The store brings out the creative side in people of all ages, with walls covered in LEGO sets to spark imaginations. The airport store was stocked with more than 200 different sets available for purchase upon opening, including sets from iconic product lines such as Star Wars, Disney, Harry Potter, Lego Friends, Duplo and more. New sets will be added monthly.

With these three new stores and an additional four concepts set to open in the coming months, WHSmith North America’s portfolio at LAX will expand to 13 locations. WHSmith North America’s existing LAX concepts include two InMotion stores, AK Boulevard, LA Confidential and two America! locations.
