Unifree Duty Free has launched a series of self-checkout kiosks in its stores at Istanbul Airport. The three machines are located at Departures.
Equipped with the latest technology, these self-checkout kiosks provide travelers with step-by-step guidance, ensuring a smooth transaction from passport verification to bagging the products, and enabling an innovative and fast checkout experience in only a few minutes. At the same time, the concept reduces the environmental impact of operations.
Self checkout kiosks are fully automated and easy to use. Five steps must be followed:
1. Scan flight ticket
2. Swipe passport through passport reader
3. Scan products
4. Insert credit card to pay
5. Package products
