The Macallan debuts multisensorial shop-in-shop at Singapore Changi Airport
The shop-in-shop, opened in collaboration with Lotte Singapore and Changi Airport Group, is the brand’s first at the Singapore hub

The Macallan, renowned single malt Scotch whisky, has partnered with Lotte Singapore and Changi Airport Group to open the brand’s first-ever shop-in-shop at Singapore Changi Airport.
Recognized globally as a world-class travel hub, Changi was voted the World’s Best Airport 2025 by Skytrax and is a key airport location for The Macallan in consumer recruitment and engagement in Asia Pacific.
Located in Terminal 3, the 19-square-meter shop-in-shop features an integrated multisensorial and digital experience that allows shoppers to explore and appreciate the rich heritage and exceptional quality of The Macallan. Balancing hospitality with retail, the space has expert Brand Consultants on-hand to inspire, engage and educate shoppers.

Anchoring the center of the space is The Macallan’s first-ever island bar in a shop-in-shop, introduced at Changi to offer a more open layout that naturally invites closer interaction between travelers and brand ambassadors. The bar’s countertop is finished in The Macallan’s signature red – a color deeply rooted in the brand’s history – while the oak wave pattern surrounding the island draws inspiration from the flowing curves of The Macallan’s distillery roof and the rolling hills of Speyside, mirroring the movement of the River Spey. Together, these elements form a distinctive visual signature that echoes The Macallan’s architectural identity.
The island bar also serves as the main tasting area, offering a comfortable setting for travelers to sample travel exclusives and limited releases including Colour Collection and The Harmony Collection Inspired by Organic Cherrywood Lapsang Tea. To elevate the shopping experience, consumers can enjoy gifting rituals such as branded ribbons to add a distinctive touch to their gift boxes.
Digital discovery, an integral part of the shop-in-shop, includes Discover Your Expression, accompanied by a nosing tool, which helps shoppers find the perfect gift for themselves or loved ones. Additionally, a Six Pillars experience incorporates physical sphere sculptures – each representing one of The Macallan’s Six Pillars – to educate shoppers on the foundation stones of The Macallan and the creation of its unique spirit via a multisensorial experience.
