The Charles Heidsieck Champagne House has partnered with Lagardère Travel Retail to expand its presence in the travel retail sector.
The companies have launched activations at Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport (Terminal 2E Gates K & M) and Nice airport (T1 & T2) that will be open to travelers until June 26. The activations are aimed at inviting travelers to rediscover the House, its history and its exceptional champagnes.
“We're delighted with our partnership with Charles Heidsieck, who is promoting its range in our boutiques of Paris and Nice airports for one month. Our passengers will have the opportunity to discover the house with its cuvées Brut Réserve, Blanc des Millénaires and Rosé Réserve,” said Victoire Gueugnier, Director Merchant Beverage (Duty Free), Lagardère Travel Retail.

Renowned for its expertise and prestigious heritage, the House is introducing itself to an international audience of travelers through spaces staffed by ambassadors, immersing visitors in the refined world of Charles Heidsieck. Passengers will have the opportunity to discover the fascinating history of the House, founded in 1851, while experiencing its flagship cuvées. Specially designed spaces recreate the touch and atmosphere of the Crayères, the House’s historic cellars, where Charles Heidsieck champagnes age in enveloping darkness, acquiring exceptional depth and complexity.
Cécile Vangelisti, Global Travel Retail Director, added, "We are proud to introduce Charles to travelers at Roissy-Charles de Gaulle and Nice airports, which are strategic hubs. This is a unique opportunity for travelers to discover our exceptional champagnes and the hidden treasures of our Maison. We are delighted to share our passion and universe with an international audience."
