Luxury wellbeing brand Rituals Cosmetics has opened its first ever standalone store at Copenhagen Airport, with a wider selection of signature collections. According to the company, the new dedicated space champions Rituals’ ethos of soulful living with a mindful slow shopping experience that is synonymous with the brand.
The growing demand within travel retail propelled the brand to expand from its previous store-in-store to open its first 50-square-meter space located in Terminal 2. The expansion also nods towards Rituals' broader travel retail strategy to open more standalone stores across key travel hubs.
From the newly re-launched The Ritual of Karma and The Ritual of Namaste to signature collections like The Ritual of Sakura and the Classic Home Collection, travelers can uplift their mind, body and soul with an expansive offering.
The Copenhagen Airport store is designed in the classic boutique concept and contains one water island, allowing customers to sample products before they make a purchase. Research indicates that one third of international travelers feel stressed at some stage in their journey. To remedy passenger anxieties, Rituals incorporates scents, textures and sights that provide a moment of physical and mental rest.
“We are very proud of our beautiful new store at Copenhagen Airport," says Raymond Cloosterman, Founder & CEO of Rituals Cosmetics. "The Rituals brand is on fire in Denmark and in the rest of Europe. Our wellbeing brand is growing, and airports are a crucial part of our brand experience. Our innovative concept comes with a fresh perspective on beauty. Our products and stores are elegant and distinctive. With our democratic price points, we can service a new and much bigger audience.”
