The airport activations aim to bring the coastal flavors of the Pulteney distillery to travelers
Scotch whisky brand Old Pulteney has launched a summer global travel retail activation across key European airports, transporting travelers to its home on the northerly-most shores of Wick, Scotland.
Featuring Old Pulteney’s travel retail range, including the new 13-Years-Old expression that launched earlier this summer, each activation aims to bring the much-loved coastal flavors of the Pulteney distillery to those traveling across the continent.
Old Pulteney 13-Years-Old joined the brand’s existing travel retail range of expressions, which includes a 10-Years-Old and a 16-Years-Old, each reflecting the classic characteristics that Old Pulteney is known for. Complex in rich, warming flavors, each expression finishes with a hint of sea salt that comes from the North Sea air lapping the maturing casks, year after year.
The campaign will span from July to September, activating in Edinburgh, Warsaw and Luton International airports for one month each, during their busy summer period. A first for the brand, Old Pulteney will also be featured on the check-in screens at Edinburgh airport as part of their activity.

Old Pulteney 10-Years-Old and 13-Years-Old are available to purchase in 1-liter bottles, with Old Pulteney 16-Years-Old available in a 70cl bottle. The most recent addition to the Old Pulteney travel exclusive range, Old Pulteney 13-Years-Old, retails at £65 (US$83).
