OakPacker American Single Malt Whisky

Spirits company Kamiki Drinks is introducing OakPacker American Single Malt Whisky, the world’s first air-harvested water fused whisky into the global travel retail channel.

According to the company, OakPacker celebrates American Oak, which gives the whisky its unique flavor. It also acknowledges the vital role of native squirrels which ensure the on-going supply of oak trees for the barrels, by burying acorns as part of their natural behavior.

OakPacker crafts its whisky with minimal environmental impact and has a mission to make a positive impact on the world. The company has introduced innovative air-harvesting technology into the alcohol industry to collect pure, clean water directly from the atmosphere, minimizing the reliance on traditional water sources and conserving precious water resources. This water is used exclusively to cut the proof of OakPacker whisky from cask to bottle strength.

The first expression, OakPacker The Air Edition (750ml/46% ABV) is small batch-produced, non-chill filtered and matured exclusively in American Oak barrels. It is sourced from the finest American single malt whiskies which meet rigorous standards for taste, aroma, and complexity.

“OakPacker is committed to producing the finest American single malt whiskey in an environment friendly manner and without compromise,” says Kamiki Drinks Global Sales Director, Serdar Pala. “Our innovative air-harvesting process is a world-first and just one example of our quest for purity and earth-friendly whisky-making. Water quality is a critical component, together with the whisky and barrels it is matured in.”
