Spirits exporter Diverse Flavours launched its new premium hand crafted, limited batch gin from the Cape Floral Kingdom – Cape Diversity Gin.
Cape Diversity Gin is inspired by the Cape Floral Kingdom, located in the Western and Eastern Cape provinces of South Africa. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site and though the smallest of the six floral kingdoms in the world, it has the largest plant variety with 9,000 plant species, 70% of which only grow in this region. The majority are native ‘fynbos’ vegetation, an Afrikaans word meaning "fine-leaved plants,” which covers the region’s magnificent mountains, lowland valleys and coastal plains. The purity of this region—the nature, diversity, beauty and uniqueness—is captured in the brand's limited-batch, hand-crafted Cape Diversity Gin.
Cape Diversity Gin's first listing is with Lotte Duty Free at Changi Airport
Distilled from classic gin and indigenous botanicals from the Cape Floral Kingdom, an endemic plant region found only in South Africa, the spirit is batch-distilled in copper stills with natural spring water.
Cape Diversity Gin is produced in limited 2400 bottle batches. Each 750ml bottle will be individually numbered. The gin has top notes of juniper, flanked by citrus zest contrasted by aromas of jasmine, orange blossom and cinnamon.
