To mark this milestone, Delhi Duty Free, in partnership with Visa, ran a promotion to thank the loyal customers who have been an integral part of its journey.
The Delhi Duty Free promotion offered shoppers a chance to win Rs51 lakhs (over US$61,000). The retailer said this extraordinary opportunity was a “testament to the store's ongoing commitment to providing value and excitement to its customers.”
Since its inception in 2010, the company has led the way in transforming the landscape of travel retail in India, with the aim of delivering an exceptional shopping experience to travelers.
The lucky winner is Ms. M Arya from New Delhi, India. She made her purchase on September 27, during a family holiday, and walked away with the prize.

During the anniversary promotion, for every purchase made within the range of Rs4,990 (US$60) and Rs8,999 (US$108), customers received one coupon that provided them an opportunity to win the grand prize. However, shoppers who chose to make their payments using Visa cards were rewarded with two coupons, effectively doubling their chances of winning the grand prize.
For purchases exceeding Rs9,000 (US$108) Visa cardholders received four coupons, while other payment methods granted them two coupons.
