Champagne Lanson serves up a sparkling celebration with Wimbledon 2025 partnership
As the official Champagne supplier of The Championships, Wimbledon, Champagne Lanson partnered with Avolta this summer to launch a series of exclusive airport activations

As the official Champagne supplier of The Championships, Wimbledon, Champagne Lanson partnered with Avolta this summer to launch a series of exclusive airport activations. Travelers at key UK airports had the opportunity to discover the limited-edition Wimbledon Pouch Editions of Lanson’s signature cuvées – Le Black Création and Le Rosé Création – blending French elegance with British sporting tradition.
A partner of Wimbledon since 1977, Champagne Lanson holds the distinction of being the second oldest sponsor of The Championships, after Slazenger.
The campaign, which began on May 30 and ran through until the end of June, made a splash at major UK airports, including Heathrow (T2 and T5), Gatwick, Stansted, and London City Airport, as well as at the shuttle terminal in Folkestone. Exclusive sales and high-profile promotion points were rolled out in collaboration with Avolta, with sleek digital bars installed at Heathrow T2 and T5 offering an immersive brand experience.
Avolta saw immediate success – selling out of the Wimbledon pouches after just one week of release. This marks the first time Champagne Lanson has made these limited-edition pouches available to Avolta, a move that underscores the growing demand for premium Champagne experiences beyond traditional retail channels.

The Wimbledon Pouch Editions feature:
Lanson Le Black Création Champagne 75cl – A bold and elegant Brut Champagne, presented in the official reusable pouch of Wimbledon. This limited-edition cuvée combines French finesse with British summer tradition, perfect for alfresco celebrations and sophisticated gifting.
Lanson Le Rosé Création Champagne 75cl – A refreshing rosé Champagne brimming with red fruit character and refined bubbles. The Wimbledon-branded pouch ensures the Champagne stays cool and ready to enjoy, whether courtside, at a picnic, or on the go.
Crafted by Maison Lanson, one of the oldest Champagne Houses in France, both cuvées showcase the brand’s signature non-malolactic fermentation style, delivering freshness, vibrancy, and finesse with every pour.
“We are thrilled with the response to our Wimbledon activations and the success of our partnership with Avolta,” says a Marian Geoffroy, Champagne Lanson’s Head of Travel Retail. “Bringing the spirit of Wimbledon to travelers through these stylish limited editions and high-profile airport activations is a perfect celebration of summer, Champagne, and sport.”
With demand running high and visibility soaring, Champagne Lanson continues to cement its place as a staple of British summer celebrations – on and off the court.
