Celebrating Taiwan’s island flavor: Everrich debuts exclusive Kavalan Rhythm of Taiwan Ocean Single Malt

Everrich Duty Free has launched the Kavalan Rhythm of Taiwan Collection – Ocean Single Malt Whisky.

This new release – exclusive to Everrich and priced at NT$3,850 (US$122) – offers international travelers a unique opportunity to discover the distinctive character of Taiwanese whisky at the gateway to Taiwan.

As Taiwan’s duty-free market continues to strengthen, Everrich said it has remained committed to curating exceptional products that showcase the island’s craftsmanship and cultural depth. In line with this mission, Everrich has collaborated with Kavalan to introduce Ocean, the first expression in the distillery’s new Rhythm of Taiwan Collection, an ode to Taiwan’s maritime heritage and island identity.

Bottled at 43% ABV in a 700ml format, Ocean is matured in Fino sherry casks, delivering bright tropical fruit aromas layered with the nutty and rich dried-fruit characteristic of sherry influence. Flavors of buttery toffee, caramel fudge and silky milk chocolate unfold on the palate, followed by a gentle coastal salinity that reflects the essence of Taiwan’s tropical terroir.

The bottle design takes inspiration from traditional Taiwanese Hakka indigo dyeing, using layered blue tones and fluid wave-like patterns to express the rhythm of the sea – an artistic tribute that aligns with Everrich’s long-standing dedication to promoting Taiwanese cultural identity through travel retail.

Everrich expanded its Kavalan boutique within the Taipei downtown duty free shop last year, offering guided tastings and curated flavor experiences that help travelers connect more deeply with Taiwan’s whisky craftsmanship. The debut of the Everrich-exclusive Ocean marks a significant milestone in the partnership between the two Taiwanese brands and reinforces Everrich’s role in bringing local excellence onto the global stage.
