Blue Elephant accelerates international expansion with launches across Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau
The contemporary Korean eyewear brand is supported in travel retail by Blue Chip Group

Contemporary Korean eyewear brand Blue Elephant has marked a significant milestone in its global growth strategy through successful launches on premium retail platforms in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.
In partnership with Blue Chip Group – an expert in travel retail and luxury distribution – Blue Elephant has introduced a curated selection of its distinctive sunglasses and optical frames across a balanced mix of prestigious travel and e-commerce channels, making the brand more accessible to travelers and discerning shoppers throughout the region.
The expansion began with Blue Elephant’s prominent feature in the inflight magazine of Taiwanese luxury carrier STARLUX Airlines in October 2025. Passengers can discover the brand’s products in the inflight magazine and pre-order through the airline’s bēshopping duty-free platform up to 14 days prior to departure.

Building on this success, the brand launched on Hong Kong’s iconic Sogo eStore in October 2025, providing a seamless luxury shopping experience via one of the city’s most established department store platforms.
In December 2025, Blue Elephant continued its momentum with a launch on New Yaohan in Macau, a premier retail destination celebrated for its curated collection of international premium brands and its appeal to sophisticated shoppers in the region.
That same month, the brand also debuted on the Hong Kong Airport eShop(hkairportshop.com), a dedicated duty-free online platform that provides travelers with seamless access to high-quality products, allowing for convenient pre-order and discovery of Blue Elephant’s contemporary eyewear amid their journeys.
This strategic multi-market and channel approach blends innovative travel retail opportunities with prominent downtown visibility, allowing Blue Elephant to connect with a wider, sophisticated audience across Asia.
