Mugler's Alien Hypersense pop ups at Birmingham Airport with Avolta

Avolta and L’Oréal Travel Retail staged a Mugler Alien Hypersense takeover at Birmingham and Stansted airports recently, with travelers invited on a journey of “radical rebirth” to discover Alien Hypersense Refillable Eau de Parfum.

This partnership highlighted L’Oréal’s commitment to delivering exceptional fragrance experiences to travelers worldwide.

As the only fashion brand owned by L’Oréal, Mugler is known for its ability to combine fashion and fragrance, harnessing creativity and innovation. Alien Hypersense visuals showcase the visionary essence of Mugler’s artistic director, Casey Cadwallader with a focus on sensuality and beauty.

A market leader since 1992, the brand introduced a sustainable approach to the new refillable eau de parfum, with on-counter staging that displayed the Alien Hypersense bottle with refill simplicity.

Discovering your "inner alien": The Alien Hypersense experience included manicure stations

At the Birmingham and Stansted airport pop-ups said to “transcended traditional perfumery” invited guests to explore manicure stations, where they could indulge in a transformation inspired by Anok Yai’s “inner alien”.

Bold, instinctive, and unapologetically authentic, Anok Yai embodies the essence of Alien Hypersense. She is celebrated as one of the most sought-after models of her generation, with appearances on luxury runways and leading fashion publications and her collaboration with Mugler “extends beyond the confines of traditional modeling”.

According to L’Oreal Travel Retail, Alien Hypersense “invites you to awaken your senses, exploring beyond the human spectrum and following the transcendent scent trail to unleash your inner Alien, sensing the extraordinary and amplifying all your senses to a wild mutation”.

The woody floral fragrance showcases Mugler’s boundless imagination and expertise, with three hyper-sensory ingredients: green mandarin and juicy pear accord, jasmine sambac from India, used for the first time, and the “electrifying cashmeran, an alien’s iconic ambery wood”.
