Advini’s Château Patache d’Aux launches Lunar New Year limited edition label and travel retail activations
The brand brings a special Year of the Fire Horse label to airports across Europe and the Middle East, combining heritage, storytelling and occasion-driven gifting
Advini’s Château Patache d’Aux is celebrating Lunar New Year 2026 with a limited-edition label, supported by high-impact travel retail activations across key international hubs.
The exclusive release is showcased in partnership with Lagardère Travel Retail at select airports in Paris, Bordeaux, Geneva and Amsterdam, with activations running since late December. The campaign will extend to the Middle East starting with Dubai Duty Free from the end of January, targeting one of the most important gifting periods in global travel retail.

A Cru Bourgeois Supérieur with a long history in the Médoc, Château Patache d’Aux has traditionally featured a patache, a horse-drawn carriage pulled by three horses on its label, symbolizing the three families who have shaped the success of the estate over generations. The emblem represents authenticity, heritage and pioneering spirit, providing the inspiration for the Lunar New Year edition.
In 2026, Lunar New Year falls on February 17, marking the start of the Year of the Fire Horse, a symbol of energy, renewal and prosperity. The festival is widely celebrated worldwide and represents a key gifting moment, particularly for traveling consumers seeking culturally resonant, premium products.
The limited-edition label reinterprets the estate’s visual heritage, linking the symbolic importance of the horse to the festive elements of Lunar New Year while maintaining the character of the northern Médoc wine. Complementing the bottle, Château Patache d’Aux has introduced a dedicated Lunar New Year gift box, designed to enhance its appeal as a premium gifting choice.

“Lunar New Year is a key moment in the travel retail calendar, particularly for gifting-driven categories such as fine wine,” said Ieva Olina, Key Account Manager Travel Retail at AdVini. “With Château Patache d’Aux, we wanted to create a limited-edition expression that feels both culturally relevant and true to the château’s heritage. The horse has always been a powerful symbol for the estate, and aligning this with the Year of the Fire Horse allows us to tell a compelling story in airport environments. Through our activations with Lagardère Travel Retail across Europe, and soon with Dubai Duty Free, we are delighted to bring this exclusive release to traveling consumers at some of the world’s most important international gateways.”
Through its travel retail activations and limited-edition presentation, Château Patache d’Aux combines heritage, storytelling and occasion-driven gifting, reinforcing its position as a contemporary Bordeaux wine suited to the global travel retail stage.
