Duty Free Reader's Choice Awards
We brought back our regional Merit of Distinction Awards from the 90s with a fresh and modern digital twist. Our new-generation Duty Free Readers' Choice Awards recognize and celebrate retailers and suppliers within The Americas, Asia and Gulf-Africa regions.
These awards celebrate the most innovative companies in the travel retail space. We’ve chosen to celebrate innovation because that’s what retailers and suppliers are looking for right now.
Our readers had the chance to vote online in seven different categories for each of the three regions: the Americas; Middle East and Africa; and Asia.
The voters were made up of– retailers, suppliers, distributors, airports, airlines and other companies involved in the industry.
To generate awareness, the awards were advertised via our e-newsletters and website. These awards are entirely digital – we don’t need another awards ceremony!
