Rituals partners with Avolta in standalone store at Stockholm Arlanda Airport

The new Rituals store is the brand's first standalone space in Sweden's travel retail sector
Luxury beauty and wellbeing brand Rituals Cosmetics is opening its first standalone store in Sweden’s travel retail sector at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
The 84 square-meter store, located in Terminal 5, opens its doors this month and will be operated by Avolta, the leading global travel retail and F&B player. The new shop floor is said to underscore Rituals' commitment to transforming travel routines into meaningful moments while reinforcing its presence in Europe, a strong performing region for the brand.
Expanding the offer
Located in one of Sweden's busiest airports, the new Rituals store features a curated selection of products. Among the highlights are the Amsterdam Collection and also a refill cabinet that allows customers to consciously re-purchase their favorite products in a sustainable way.
The store will showcase the Premium Home collection, which is currently available in only two other airports worldwide. Designed to transform passengers' homes into sanctuaries of comfort and balance, the Private Home Collection features products including Rituals scented candles in Suede Vanilla, Sweet Jasmine and Savage Garden scents. Further elevating the offer is the Soulful Collection, a premium line created with the world's best perfumers.

The newly released Soulful Collection is a key feature of the Arlanda store, bringing passengers a range of premium fragrances. The collection is built around three signature scents: Gratitude, Love and Positivity - each is available in various formats, including candles, fragrance sticks, wardrobe perfumes, and home fragrances. Additionally, refill options are offered for certain products, highlighting the 3 Rs, Rituals' conscious packaging principles: Refill, Reduce and Recycle.
Strategic Stockholm Arlanda Airport location
According to Rituals, the new store is a strategic location not only for the brand but for the wider aviation industry.
Stockholm Arlanda Airport has seen recent investment into its operations due to the increase in passenger numbers. In 2024, international travel increased by 5% and looking ahead, the airport is adding 24 new routes to solidify its connectivity as one of Sweden's leading airports. The growing interest from passengers and investors further highlight Rituals' strategic choice to bring its offering to the country's travel retail sector, offering global customers an opportunity to experience the brands' luxury products.
Margareta Le Calvé, General Manager Nordics for Avolta, said, "As a leading global travel retail and F&B player, we are thrilled to operate this new Rituals store at Arlanda Airport. We are confident that the brand will resonate with passengers who are looking for premium and gift worthy products during their travels, enhancing the airport experience for our customers."
Lotte Rozemuller, Director Travel Retail EMEA & Americas at Rituals, added, "Europe is an important region for Rituals and we are excited to expand our presence across travel retail markets to give travelling customers the opportunity to engage with our unique brand offering. Our new space in Arlanda Airport marks yet another milestone for us, as this is our first standalone store in Sweden's travel retail market. This opening underscores our commitment to bringing luxury wellbeing products to travelers, encouraging them to embrace the Rituals philosophy of mindfulness and sustainable living, wherever they are."
