Rome meets Istanbul: Bvlgari reveals Le Gemme High Perfumery pop-up at Istanbul International Airport
Bvlgari has unveiled a high-perfumery pop-up dedicated to Le Gemme High Perfumery Collection at the Istanbul International Airport in the Unifree Duty Free store.
This exclusive installation celebrates the timeless connection between Rome and Istanbul, two legendary cities united by the historic Silk Road. The Roman Maison brings the Bvlgari gems road to the East and introduces its latest High Perfumery creation, Bvlgari Le Gemme Amunae.
Developed in partnership with Gebr. Heinemann and Unifree Duty Free, the pop-up invites travelers to embark on an immersive experience into the world of Roman luxury, featuring fragrance masterpieces that capture the essence of Bvlgari’s creativity.
Located in the left aisle of Unifree Duty Free, the new pop-up evokes the iridescence of moonstone, brought to life through back-lit displays adorned with cascading strings of jasmine flower. The store also pays homage to the Maison’s Roman heritage with travertine marble and carpet in Bvlgari’s iconic Blue Mediterraneo color, seamlessly blending tradition and modern luxury.
An interactive fragrance bar completes the retail experience delivering a one-of-a-kind immersion. Clients can explore Bvlgari Le Gemme Amunae, Le Gemme Tygar, and Le Gemme Sahare placing each bottle on a designated area showcasing visuals and storytelling inspired by the fragrance.

To further enhance the space’s ambience, an artist will be on-site three days a week to offer clients custom watercolor paintings featuring notes from Le Gemme Amunae.

The latest signature in the Bvlgari Le Gemme Collection, Bvlgari Le Gemme Amunae, brings the journey along the gems road to Sri Lanka and to one of its most fascinating gem: moonstone. With Bvlgari Le Gemme Amunae the gemstone is expressed in the jasmine flower, embodying its hues in fresh floral and creamy facets. Layered with woody black musk accord, the scent illustrates how softness can hide strength, and how contrasts are essential to inner balance.
According to Bvlgari, Master Perfumer Sophie Labbé has crafted an olfactory masterpiece that channels the moon’s shifting plays of light and harmonious contrasts. Bvlgari Le Gemme Amunae opens with a vivid freshness of aldehydes, balanced by olibanum essence, also known as frankincense, which rounds out the gem’s luminosity, softening it with warm, citrus and balsamic notes and paving the way for the fragrance to bloom.
