By Wendy Morley

Avolta has secured a 10-year contract to operate 12 food and beverage locations in Frankfurt Airport's new Terminal 3. The 1,400-square-meter operation will serve up to 19 million travelers annually when the terminal opens in 2026.

"We are delighted to have secured this decade-long contract and deeply appreciate Fraport's continued trust in our strong partnership," says Walter Seib, CEO Northern, Central and Eastern Europe of Avolta.

The outlets will include brands such as Espresso House, Asia Street Cooking, Brewgate and Sophia Loren restaurant. The win marks 20 years since Avolta's entry into Frankfurt Airport's F&B sector.

"The company's diverse and innovative portfolio of culinary concepts combined with strict quality standards will greatly enrich the food and beverage options at Terminal 3," says Anke Giesen, Executive Director of Retail and Real Estate at Fraport AG.

Terminal 3 represents one of Europe's largest infrastructure projects, strengthening Frankfurt's position as one of Europe's top five busiest hubs and Germany's largest airport.
