Swarovski sparkles with Avolta in newly refurbished Zurich Airport boutique

A destination for luxury-focused international shoppers at Zurich Airport, Swarovski’s boutique is a feast for the senses and a tribute to the wonder of crystal
Swarovski has partnered with Avolta to unveil a newly refurbished boutique within Zurich Airport, a key connection point for luxury travelers.
Radiant with light, the boutique is fitted with the brand’s WonderLux retail concept in an elegant blue – one of Swarovski’s House colors – to complement the shimmering beauty of crystal and offer an enhanced customer experience to travelers in search of gifts.
Opening in time for the festive season, the Swarovski boutique features a range of crystal pieces that are perfect for gifting. Alongside its jewelry collections, including the Millenia and Matrix ranges, it stocks a selection of home décor products, watches, and accessories.

Andreea Marginean, Swarovski Head of Global Travel Retail, said, “One of my priorities is to bring Swarovski’s unique customer journey to travel retail, and to bring to life the superlative creativity of our brand, the incredible styling opportunities, and the added value of impeccable customer service. Our refurbished store accomplishes this, thanks to the fantastic support of our partner Avolta and its unique location in the beautiful Zurich Airport.”
Swarovski’s refurbished boutique is its first dedicated Monobrand collaboration with Avolta at an airport, reflecting the strategic importance of Zurich as a key luxury destination and extending Swarovski’s reach and appeal to an international audience.
Manuela Facheris, Global Director Fashion, Luxury, WJA & Sunglasses at Avolta, commented, “We are delighted to celebrate the opening of Swarovski’s stunning refurbished boutique at Zurich Airport. Swarovski is an iconic brand renowned for elegance and craftsmanship, and this boutique perfectly aligns with our strategy to make passengers happier by offering unique and luxurious experiences. Zurich’s importance as a key luxury destination makes this partnership even more special, and we thank the Swarovski team for their invaluable collaboration in bringing this vision to life.”

The new boutique forms part of an ongoing global rollout of Swarovski's new retail universe
The new boutique forms part of an ongoing global rollout of Swarovski’s new retail universe, which began in 2023 as part of the brand’s journey deeper into the luxury sphere with immersive new stores and flagships in key global cities including Shanghai, Zurich, New York, Seoul, and Milan.
Designed by Swarovski Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert, who has embraced a bolder and more colorful aesthetic for the 129-year-old Austrian House, the WonderLux retail concept is described as an “extravagant space that sparks wonder, like stepping into a jewelry box filled with treasures”. Each new store is decorated in one of Swarovski’s five vibrant House colors and is fitted with octagon showcases, metallic and fluted glass finishes and sensorial gross-grain silk and velvet touches.
