Moncler opens at Shanghai Hongqiao Airport

Italian luxury brand Moncler has enhanced its experiential offer at Shanghai Hongqiao Airport with the opening of a newly relocated store in Terminal 2.

The new location is operated directly by Moncler, in line with the brand’s travel retail strategy. Moncler said this allows the brand to “leverage its expertise in delivering a truly exquisite and tailored experience for traveling shoppers”.

The 85-square-meter location is designed to create an immersive Moncler experience, with the brand’s iconic black and white color scheme and marble decorations deployed to create a striking differentiation with the surrounding concourse in the Central Area of Terminal 2. The open façade is crafted to draw shoppers into the store, with mirrors used to create a sense of space and immersion.

Once in the store, shoppers can discover a range of Moncler collections, crafted to suit the needs and preferences of the modern Chinese traveling shopper. Each piece is presented in a gallery format, allowing shoppers to explore and discover at their leisure.

Marco Passoni, Senior Executive VP of 2.0 & Partners, said, “Moncler has established itself as a leader in creating truly immersive brand experiences tailored to the unique needs and nature of the travel retail space. This newly relocated store in Shanghai Hongqiao is no exception.

“This is a stunning example of what brands can create when given the freedom to directly manage and craft their spaces to the needs of their consumers. We at 2.0 & Partners are proud to have played our part in bringing this vision to reality.”

The new Moncler store opened on September 30.
