Avolta continues successful 'I Love Antalya' campaign at Antalya Airport, celebrating local culture

Avolta's campaign brings the Mediterranean spirit to life at Antalya Airport

Avolta AG has announced the continuation of its highly successful ‘I Love Antalya’ campaign at Antalya Airport in Turkey. The campaign, which was first launched last year, is currently being held across Terminals 1 and 2, offering travelers a unique opportunity to experience the beauty and rich heritage of the Mediterranean region within the airport’s Duty Free stores.

The 2023 iteration of the campaign has been shortlisted for the “Retailer Campaign of the Year” at the Frontier Awards 2024. It draws inspiration from Antalya’s rich history and colorful traditions, with a particular focus on the Yörük culture that has shaped the region’s past. The design process meticulously incorporates elements from the vibrant Mediterranean color palette and Yörük-inspired designs, creating a seamless blend of past and present that evokes both nostalgia and freshness.

Traditional Anatolian rug patterns have been integrated into the campaign, tapping into a broader appreciation for handcrafted designs while honoring local heritage. This thoughtful combination of tradition and modernity ensures that the campaign resonates with both local and international travelers.


Avolta celebrates Antalya's heritage as "Proudly Local" products showcase the region's rich culture at the airport

Visitors are encouraged to explore Antalya’s culture through specially designed local product displays inspired by the tree of life motif, symbolizing the connection between earth and sky. The campaign offers unique items such as Turkish coffee cups, souvenirs and textiles that celebrate Antalya’s heritage, allowing travelers to take a piece of the local culture home with them.

The airport experience is further enhanced by live DJ performances, folkloric dance shows and tastings of delicious local foods, creating a vibrant atmosphere in the terminals. These elements combine to leave a lasting impression on every visitor.
