Lagardère Travel Retail Switzerland, in partnership with Geneva Airport, has unveiled an immersive celebration of Swiss craftmanship and expertise, offering travelers an “unforgettable and authentic experience” at the heart of the airport.
The Place Centrale has been reimagined as a showcase of iconic Swiss products, with the experience extending into the Aelia Duty Free store. This setup blends tradition, quality, and innovation, providing a multisensory journey through Switzerland’s finest offerings.
Travelers are invited to dive into the world of Villars chocolate with an interactive ‘milk- a-cow’ experience guided by a master chocolatier. This hands-on activity allows guests to step into the shoes of a Swiss dairy farmer and discover how milk origins influence chocolate flavors across different cantons.
Ricola, the renowned Swiss confectioner, offers an olfactory experience with live demonstrations of candy-making using 100% Swiss Alpine herbs while chocolate lovers are also invited to discover an exclusive first taste of the new Lindt wafers (in three flavors: hazelnut, milk chocolate, and dark chocolate. A Lindt maître chocolatier will be on hand to interact with guests, offering a chance to sample the new flavors via a wheel of fortune and sharing insights into chocolate craftsmanship.
To complete this sensory journey, Lagardère Travel Retail Switzerland invites travelers to visit the Aelia Duty Free departure store, for a tasting of Swiss spirits. The showcase features Studer’s exceptional bottles, each containing a sculpted Matterhorn and 24-karat gold flakes that melt in the mouth.
