Unifree Duty Free makes top management appointments
Unifree Duty Free names Korhan Öz (left) as CEO and welcomes Zahide Altunbaş Sancak as a Board Member
Unifree Duty Free has announced new top management appointments, with Korhan Öz, who has been acting as CEO since April 2024, officially named CEO.
Öz, who has spent approximately 20 years of his more than 30 years of work experience in the retail sector, has experience in many areas such as strategy formulation and implementation, growth and profitability-oriented studies, board memberships and public offerings, as well as finance leadership.
Öz will lead Unifree Duty Free’s efforts to take a leading role in travel retail and “always offer a unique shopping experience to its customers”.
Zahide Altunbaş Sancak has joined the Unifree Duty Free Board. She completed her undergraduate law education at Istanbul Bilgi University with a full scholarship and received her master’s degree from Harvard Law School. She also holds a Ph. D in private law.
