The Shilla Duty Free's flagship liquor store has opened at Incheon International Airport
The Shilla Duty Free, operated by Hotel Shilla, is set to open its flagship liquor store at Seoul's Incheon International Airport today (July 1).
Located in the west wing of Incheon International Airport’s Terminal 2, The Shilla Duty Free store is 316 square meters and is the airport’s only specialized liquor store.
According to The Shilla Duty Free, a key feature of its flagship stores is their larger floor space compared to regular outlets, “allowing for a more extensive product inventory”. This newly opened liquor flagship store showcases ten brands, including Ballantine’s, Royal Salute, Johnnie Walker, and The Balvenie. William Grant & Sons’ Wildmoor, known for its distinctive vanilla notes, makes its debut in Korea exclusively at The Shilla Duty Free while Glenmorangie and Hennessy offer tasting experiences of their signature products, allowing customers to engage with the brands.

Top-selling brands hit the spotlight at the Terminal 2 store
The Shilla Duty Free is launching various promotions to commemorate the opening of the Terminal2 liquor flagship store, offering discounts of up to 30%, and customers will receive complimentary gifts such as wine glasses, coasters, and travel bags based on their purchase amount.
Additional brand-specific promotions are also underway. The Balvenie offers gifts that blend Korean traditional culture with purchases, while William Grant & Sons will conduct a lucky draw for dinner invitations to The Balvenie pop-up store event in Seongsu-dong this August for purchases over US$1,000.
The Shilla Duty Free is also hosting customer events to mark the first anniversary of its new Incheon International Airport concessions. Anniversary celebrations, which run until July 31, include a Lucky Roulette event offering up to KRW1 million (US$725) in prepaid card benefits for those who verify their Incheon Airport store purchases, and an US$8 point gift on purchases over US$10. Other offers include a Shilla Bear Keyring gift with purchases of cosmetics and perfume of US$150 or more from two or more brands at the Incheon Airport store.
