Cochin Duty Free introduces Last-Minute and Shop-on-Wheels shopping
Cochin Duty Free is offering its customers two new shopping concepts: Last-Minute and Shop-on-Wheels
Cochin Duty Free has unveiled Last-Minute and Shop-on-Wheels shopping concepts at Cochin International Airport Terminal 3 Departures.
Lal Arakulath, Director, Alpha Kreol India Private Ltd, congratulated Cochin International Airport on the opening of the last-minute shopping facility. “We have an approximately 10,000 square feet Arrival Shop and 3,000 square feet Departure Shop. This goes one step ahead in creating extra opportunities for shoppers,” he said.
Alpha Kreol India Private Ltd is a joint venture of Kreol Group UAE and Avolta and has a management contract with Cochin Duty Free.

Located near Departure Gate No.3, the Last-Minute Shop offers a range of travel essentials, from fragrances to chocolates, making it easy for travelers to grab any necessities before boarding. This shop ensures that busy travelers don’t miss out on essentials, providing a seamless shopping experience right at the gate.”
The Shop-on-Wheels buggy roams the airport concourse, showcasing a curated collection of products. Passengers can conveniently browse perfumes, chocolates, handicrafts and other items without leaving the waiting area near their gate. The Shop on Wheels is said to bring the shopping experience directly to travelers, making it more enjoyable and accessible.
