Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail has announced the opening of Auckland Airport’s first ever wine and spirits shop-in-shop, in partnership with Lagardère AWPL.
The 62 square meter space features Pernod Ricard’s new signature modular design in the prime location of Auckland Airport’s departures area, signaling a new chapter for long-term partners Pernod Ricard and Lagardère AWPL in enhancing the travel retail shopping experience in Auckland.
Initially launching with Jameson, the boutique features interchangeable furniture, enabling the wines and spirits group to display multiple brands from its esteemed portfolio. Plans are underway to transition the space to Malfy Gin and Chivas Blended Scotch Whisky within the next 12 months.
