ARI celebrates success at annual Star Awards
Colleagues from across ARI’s global estate were welcomed to Dublin last week for the 2024 annual Star Awards.
Each year these awards recognize the teams and individuals who have gone above and beyond to deliver the best retail experience for customers and value to partners.
Ray Hernan, ARI CEO, said, “This event is always a highlight of our year at ARI, where we celebrate our people, who are the driving force behind our business and delivering joy on your way. The Star Awards honor our world-class teams who work hard to ensure every customer has an extraordinary experience in our stores. Congratulations to all those shortlisted and to our very deserving winners.”
Award winners, runners-up and guests came together to celebrate how they each raise the bar every day, regardless of their role in the business, and enjoyed a few days together exploring the beautiful sights of Dublin and the opportunity to come together as a team.
Celebrating on the evening were:
- Super Star Award Runners-up: Mariam Mhamdi, Senior BA Supervisor, Bahrain Duty Free and Alma Turkovic, Sales Assistant, Montenegro Duty Free.
- Super Star Award Winner: Carolina Baltazar, Section Supervisor, Portugal Duty Free
- Partner of Choice Award: Implementation Team, Central (Ciaran Kelly, Dean Byrne, Tracy Ross, Ellie Nolan and Mariana Bolini)
- World’s Favorite Airport Retailer Award: LTC Team, Bahrain Duty Free (Mohammed Adel, Ambrose Stanley, Ahmed Jaafar Kadhem, Habiba Alsaffar and Vanessa Alison Elardo Vergabera).
