Pernod Ricard launches Glenlivet 13-Year-Old Tropical Rum Cask exclusively in Taiwan duty free
Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail (GTR) has launched The Glenlivet 13-Year-Old Tropical Rum Cask, exclusively available in Taiwan Duty Free. The expression has been matured in American Oak for 13 years, culminating in a selective rum finish that brings forth a combination of sweet pear and red apple flavor notes with a tropical twist.

In celebration of this exciting release, a special launch event and cocktail experience is planned at Taipei Taoyuan Airport (T1 & T2) in September. In-store activations throughout September and October will feature unmissable visuals on departure lightboxes in each terminal, as well as a tropical-themed photo opportunity. Knowledgeable brand consultants will be present in store to help customers in discovering the best ways to appreciate The Glenlivet Tropical Rum Cask.
The activation is bolstered by an omnichannel campaign that leverages the power of social amplification through collaborations with Taiwanese whisky influencers and travel media. Complementing this approach, the campaign also includes a first-ever collaboration between Pernod Ricard GTR and Starlux Airlines, a renowned Taiwanese luxury airline. This innovative media collaboration aims to maximize reach and engagement with travelers before departure.
The Glenlivet 13-Year-old Tropical Rum Cask sets itself apart by its ABV of 48%, higher than the standard. It retails at a RSP of USD $45 (70cl) and is available exclusively in Taiwan from September.
