Lotte Duty Free has partnered with Korean girl group aespa to launch a brand campaign with an eco-friendly message.

Featuring aespa’s sustainable travel story, the latest edition of Lotte’s LDF Original Series, “Song of the Stars”, is a short drama starring the group made up of three episodes. The short drama shows members of aespa sympathizing with the “preciousness of the earth” while on a stargazing trip across Australia.

During the final episode – available now – aespa members deliver messages about sustainable travel in four languages: Korean, English, Chinese and Japanese.

This instalment of the series has accumulated more than 5 million views to date. As part of the campaign, the travel retailer has promised to donate KRW 20.23 million to help protect the environment and spread the message.

In addition, a poster of aespa will be gifted to customers who purchase more than a specified amount of domestic brand products at Lotte Duty Free Myeongdong Main Store, World Tower Store, Busan Store and Jeju Store (while supplies last).

"Thanks to the great interest of global customers in the 'LDF Original Series', Lotte Duty Free has been able to participate in meaningful work with donations. We will continue to take the lead in protecting the global environment and creating sustainable travel,” says a Lotte Duty Free official.
