Dubai Duty Free received two top awards at the 19th Global Traveler – GT Tested Reader Survey Awards
Dubai Duty Free received two top awards at the 19th Global Traveler – GT Tested Reader Survey Awards. The retailer was named “Best Duty-Free Shopping in the World” for the 16th consecutive year and the “Best Duty-Free Shopping in the Middle East” for the fourth time at the awards ceremony, held on December 6 at The Ritz-Carlton in Los Angeles, California.
Conducted between December 2021 and September 2022, Global Traveler's annual GT Tested Reader Survey Awards is voted on by the readers of the monthly magazine, written exclusively for "frequent, luxury and leisure travelers." This year, more than 22,000 people participated in the survey.

With almost 550,000 readers, Global Traveler connects U.S.-based frequent affluent international travelers. Each year, the GT Tested Reader Survey Awards are conducted based on an independently verified online survey of the readers, representing travelers who average nine domestic flights per year; 93 percent travel internationally on a regular basis (11 roundtrips in the last three years), mostly in first and business class.
