Lagardère Travel Retail’s new Perth Airport store showcases local products such as wines, gourmet produce and more
Lagardère Travel Retail has opened a Gift & Souvenir store in Perth Airport.
Called ‘The WA Store’, the 80-square-meter store is located at Perth Airport’s Terminal 1 Virgin Domestic Terminal. According to Lagardère Travel Retail, the store features products with local elements, including local wines, gourmet produce, giftware, apparel, books, jewelry, plush toys and souvenir items.
Commenting on the new store, Lagardère’s CEO of Pacific Region, Przemek Lesniak said: “WA is such a unique region in Australia and we’re excited to showcase the best of this region in The WA Store. The store is designed to embrace the many local flavors and true sense of place, while offering our customers an exceptional range of local gift & souvenirs.”
The new store’s concept follows that of The Launceston, Melbourne, Gold Coast and most recently, Nelson Stores, which have been well received by the landlords and customers for showcasing local products and eye-catching visual merchandise which reflects the character of each region.
Lagardère Travel Retail currently operates seven stores across Terminals 1, 2 and three at Perth Airport covering Travel Essentials and Duty Free.
