Smile Train welcomes Sunil Tuli to philanthropic advisory board

In 2023 Sunil Tuli, CEO of King Power Group Hong Kong and President of APTRA, raised over US$80,000 for Smile Train by climbing to the Mount Everest Base Camp

Smile Train, the world's largest cleft-focused organization, has announced the addition of Sunil Tuli to its Philanthropic Advisory Board. Tuli brings extensive experience in the travel and luxury sectors along with a strong dedication to improving the lives of children with clefts worldwide.

With over 40 years of industry experience, Tuli has risen to become CEO of King Power Group Hong Kong and President of APTRA. His commitment to children's health has led to impactful initiatives globally. In 2023, Tuli achieved a personal goal by climbing to Mt. Everest Base Camp, raising over $80,000 for Smile Train in the process.

Troy Reinhart, Smile Train's SVP of Philanthropy and Ambassador Development, expressed enthusiasm about the appointment, stating, "We are thrilled to welcome Sunil to our board. With Sunil's extensive background and unwavering commitment to humanitarian work, Sunil will be an invaluable asset as we continue to expand our reach and enhance our programs for children with clefts."


Tuli will contribute to Smile Train's strategic fundraising efforts and help ensure the organization maintains its focus on providing free cleft surgery and comprehensive care to children in need

Regarding his new role, Tuli said, "I am honored to join the board of Smile Train. I have seen their work firsthand in India, Nepal, and the Philippines. Their work is critical, and I look forward to contributing to their vision of bringing smiles to children and their families worldwide."
