Qatar Duty Free names Przemyslaw Lesniak Vice President of Retail Operations
Przemyslaw Lesniak, Vice President of Retail Operations, Qatar Duty Free
Qatar Duty Free has announced the appointment of Przemyslaw Lesniak as its Vice President of Retail Operations. With over two decades of experience in the travel retail industry, Lesniak brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of success to his new role. He will report directly to Thabet Musleh.
Lesniak held a decorated 23-year career with Lagardère, demonstrating a strong ability to galvanize teams and foster creativity and innovation. He drove projects across the Europe and Asia Pacific business, holding a number of leadership roles in Poland, France and Sydney. In his role as co-CEO at Lagardère AWPL, Lesniak successfully navigated the business through the COVID-19 pandemic, while also scoring a number of notable contract wins to expand in key regions and signing the joint venture agreement with Australian travel retailer AWPL.
In his new role at Qatar Duty Free, Lesniak will be responsible for all retail operations, developing and implementing industry leading retail transformation strategies to further optimize the world-class shopping experience at Hamad International Airport. He will drive commercial success across the business through strategic growth initiatives, close collaboration with brand partners and key stakeholders, and excellent customer service standards.
