Eric Carlier joins Food Accademia team

Food Accademia has welcomed Eric Carlier to its team, effective November 20, 2023.

Carlier is based in Paris, France, and has more than 25 years of experience in the global travel retail industry, holding international management positions with extensive experience across multiple business segments including airlines, airports, borders and cruise lines. He has a professional approach to business and a deep understanding of travel retail rules.

Carlier said, "I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with Fabrizio and his team at Food Accademia to more broadly support the many Italian brands of excellence that Food Accademia represents and distributes. We share the same goal: to build brands in travel retail."

Fabrizio Canal, Founder of Food Accademia, said, "I have known Eric since our first exposure at TFWA in Singapore in 2016; I have great respect for his passion for the channel and his incredible product knowledge in the fine food industry. We are very happy to have Eric join us and we are confident that his arrival will bring new energy and experience to Food Accademia and its brand partners."

Carlier will be the driving force behind the company's participation at the WTCE in May and TFWA in October 2024.
