TFWA names Franck Waechter as Managing Director
Franck Waechter takes on the role of Managing Director at TFWA
Tax Free World Association (TFWA) has announced the appointment of Franck Waechter as Managing Director. He will assume the role from November 2.
Franck has worked with a number of leading global brands that operate in the duty free and travel retail industry, including L'Oréal, Givenchy, Guerlain, Champagne Laurent-Perrier and Valmont. A French national, he has had a broad international career which has led him to live and work in a number of countries around the world, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, China and Taiwan.
Franck graduated from the ESSEC Business School in Cergy, France with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He has also completed the program for executive development leadership at the IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland. Outside of work, Franck enjoys tutoring ESSEC students. He is trilingual in French, English and German.
